Daywise Itinerary

1. Day 1 Guwahati to Shillong (122 km/ 3 hours)

   After arriving at the railway station/airport in Guwahati, our representative will pick you up and transfer you to the city of Shillong for check-in. On the way, stop by Umiam Lake, which is the biggest man-made lake in North East.

   After checking in, spend an amazing night at the hotel in Shillong.

2. Day 2 Shillong To Cherrapunjee (54 km/ 1hour 40 mins)

   After an early breakfast in Shillong, you will leave for Cherrapunji this morning, all the while being accompanied by the rolling hills and deep valleys. Once in Cherrapunji, you will be visiting attractions like the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, the Mawsmai Caves, and the Arwah caves.

   In the evening, you will be checking in to the hotel for the overnight stay in Cherrapunji.

3. Day 3 Cherrapunji to Nongriat Trek/Sightseeing and back to Cherrapunji

   After breakfast this morning, a small trekking experience will take you to the majestic double-decker living root bridge of Cherrapunji. Spend some time strolling and exploring the beauty of Cherrapunji.

   Overnight in Cherrapunji.

4. Day 4 Cherrapunji to Dawki and Mawlynnong

   After breakfast, you will be leaving for your tour of the small villages of Dawki and Mawllynnong, each famous for their own unique reasons. Mawllynnong is awarded to be the cleanest village of the continent of Asia. The way to the village passes through brilliant roads that offer some of the most amazing views of the Shillong Plateau. Walk through the village before going to see the living root bridges here. From here, you will be leaving to reach the amazing border town of Dawki near Bangladesh. Famous for crystal clear waters of the river here, the place is as scenic as it gets. Enjoy a relishing a boat ride (optional) on the crystal clear water of the Umngot River and cross the Dawki Bridge (1932 India- Bangladesh suspension bridge).

   Overnight at Mawllynnong.

5. Day 5 Mawlynnong - Jowai - Shillong

   After early breakfast start full day excursion to Jowai, headquarters of the Jaintia Hills district is situated 66 kms away from Shillong, along the Shillong-Silchar national highway. A picturesque town circled by the majestic Myntdu River. Jowai was the summer capital of the Jaintia Kings, of Sutnga State. You will visit India's most magical waterfall - Krang Suri, Meghalaya. A moment of silence to acknowledge how beautiful this waterfall is! Later drive to Tryshi Waterfalls, A bridge connects the waterfall's surroundings with an expanse of green paddy fields. A breathtaking panoramic view of the Pynthor Nein is visible from the bridge. Next you will stop at Thadlaskein Lake where you can enjoy boating. Afternoon proceed to The Nartiang menhir measure 27 feet in height above the ground, 6 feet in breadth and 2 feet 6 inches in thickness. The monoliths represent the megalithic culture of the Hynniewtrep people. A 500 Years old temple of Durga is another attraction at Nartiang. Evening back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.

6. Day 6 Transfer To Guwahati Airport / Railway Station

   Check-out of your accommodation after breakfast and you will be then taken to the Guwahati Airport/railway station to continue with your return journey, thus bringing the experience to an end.
