Palak Lake

Situated near Phura Village at a distance of around 400 km, this beautiful oval shaped lake is a popular place to visit south of AIzawal. It is definitely a popular spot and this beautiful waterbody covers an estimated 1sqkm and is surrounded by the green.

Phawngpui Hills

It is probably the highest peak in Mizoram and situated in the Chhimtuipai district near the Myanmar border. It is a must visit and is also said to be the ‘House of Gods’. The hills are rich in vibrant and colorful species of orchids, herbs, fauna and Rhododendrons. It is a wonderful view you should never miss during your Trip here.

This monument today reminds the legendary love story of Chhingpuii and Kaptluanga. This memorial is a momentum of love and is located on the Aizawal to Lunglei road and is something that you must not afford to miss. Vantawang Falls

Located in Serchhip district of Mizoram it is an enormous waterfall situated at around 137 km from Aizawal. Besides the falls, its surrounding too are very beautiful and impossible to forget, once visited. It is located in the river of Vanva and the highest in the state.

Perched at 1600 meters, it is one of the highest scenic hill station in Mizoram. It is the best place to find peace and serenity. Reiek Tlang calls out to the lovers of nature, adventure and romance. Located at a distance of 29 km away from the city of Aizawl.

Best time to visit Mizoram

The state experiences three seasons and pretty extreme temperatures in all of the 3 seasons. Summer starts in the month of March and Monsoon after May. However the decent time to visit would be the winters that may last till the ides of March.
